Refund Policy

Insightful Advocacy provides professional consultation, advocacy, and educational support services. Because these services involve time, planning, and appointment scheduling, the following refund and cancellation policies apply.
Consultation and Advocacy Services
Payment is collected at the time of service or according to the service agreement.
Fees are non-refundable for services that have already been completed.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule a scheduled session with at least 24 hours’ notice at no cost.
If a session is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or you do not attend a scheduled session, the session fee may still be charged.
If I need to reschedule due to illness, emergency, or unexpected circumstances, I will notify you as soon as possible and reschedule at no cost to you.
Retainer or Package Services
If you have paid for a multi-session package or a retainer-based service:

Any portion of services already provided is non-refundable.

Any unused portion may be refunded upon request, minus a 10% administrative processing fee.
IEP Meeting Support
If I am scheduled to attend a meeting and the meeting is cancelled or rescheduled by the school or district:

If I am notified at least 24 hours in advance, there is no charge.

If notice is given same-day, the 1-hour minimum advocacy rate may be billed.
No Guarantee of Outcome
Advocacy and consultation services support communication, planning, and informed decision-making. However, outcomes depend on team decisions and district processes. Therefore, no specific outcomes are guaranteed.
