Fees for Services

I currently charge for services based on national norms for independent special-education advocates. My long-term goal is to secure grants so I can serve families at low or no cost whenever possible.

• Intro Call / Initial Consultation (45 - 60 min): Free — learn your goals, fit, and next steps.

• File / Records Review + Written Summary (2 - 3 hrs): $400 flat.

• IEP Strategy Session (60–90 min, includes an initial plan you can send to your child's school): $300 flat.

• IEP Meeting Advocacy (live/virtual): $150/hr, billed in 15-min increments.

• Comprehensive Advocacy Package (typical 10–15 hrs over a month or two): $2,500 flat (records review, plan, meeting prep, meeting attendance, follow-up).

• Classroom Implementation Support (consult, email scripts, accommodation checklists): $150/hr.

• Travel (if in-person): standard hourly rate portal-to-portal + mileage at IRS rate (waived for virtual).

• Comprehensive Assessment:

  • ​Functional Vision Evaluation

  • Learning Media Assessment

  • Expanded Core Curriculum Assessment

  • Neurological/Cortical Visual Impairment Screenings

  • Vision-Specific Assistive Technology Assessment

  • + Travel costs for 4-5 days

  • $5,500 flat.

Policies: No surprise bills; time is tracked and shared. Retainers used only for multi-month cases (typically $500–$800 applied to services). Sliding-scale and pro-bono spots open as grant funding allows.
